Replacing a Blown Head Gasket
Out in the shop, Alex had to replace a blown head gasket. Head gaskets often blow due to the extremely high engine temperatures that often result from low coolant in the radiator. The radiator ultimately helps keep your engine cool. Without keeping a constant check on your coolant levels, you run the risk of your car overheating. Keep an eye on your coolant and your temperature gauge to ensure that you don't blow a head gasket. In the long run, coolant will cost you much less than a busted head gasket.
