Hopewell was always quick with whatever car work I needed done on my '87 Volvo when I lived on the west side of town. Prices were fair, and I never felt as though they suggested repairs I didn't need. Great Shop!

Excellent Repair Shop

Excellent repair shop. Cleaner than my doctors waiting room. They have wireless internet, comfortable chairs, and brought me a drink while I waited. Luke Turner is very trustworthy and honest. Reliable, honest work

I have two sons that attend the University of Georgia and have cars at school. My husband and I had wondered what their options were if they ever had car problems. We worried that, being naive kids, local businesses might take advantage of them. As luck would have it, on a trip over to Athens, my husband and I had some car trouble. I asked a stranger in town for a recommendation and was directed to Hopewell Tire & Automotive. Our car limped into the shop. It was a blistering hot day and the car was loaded to the max with stuff for our boys who were moving into apartments. The folks at Hopewell opened their arms and made us feel like a miserable day was going to be alright. As we sat in the waiting room, we chatted with other customers. Most of them were long time customers and couldn't praise Hopewell enough. One lady drove 30 miles, from another city, to have here car serviced on a regular basis. She knew the owner and said he was the most honest man you would ever want to meet. We were almost glad, after all, that our car had broken down, since we ended up having a great location for our sons' emergency car repairs. - Sandra M.

Reliable and Honest

The guys at Hopewell are extremely reliable and honest. Being female, I really appreciated the way they treated me--as an important and competent customer. Whenever Brian called me to tell me what the status of my car was, instead of feeling like I was speaking to someone who was simply after money, I felt as though a good friend of mine was helping me with my car problem. I've been to Hopewell twice now, once for major engine repairs and once to have the fuel pump replaced. They always present their diagnosis in a precise and understandable way and their pricing is always more than reasonable. I'll Use Them Again

My daughter is a student at UGA and her car developed a problem. An old beater high mileage Dodge Stratus, but it has been a good car for her student years. I went on CarTalk.com to find someone to send her to, since I'm in another city and can't do it myself (which I usually do and she has gotten used to). Luke took my call, listened to my second hand explanations of what my duaghter had described, and got it fixed. Reasonable price, clear explanations, quick service. And my daughter reports "they were really nice" when she picked it up. For a long distance relationship, I have to give these guys a lot of credit.
